ConvaTec ESENTA Medical Adhesive Remover/Releaser Spray Sting Free 50 ml, Ref # 423289 (Formerly known as Convatec Sensi Care Adhesive Remover Spray) contains silicone-based formulation for fast and easy removal of adhesives, dressings and appliances from skin. The formulation of this adhesive releaser spray is a silicone blend so it does not sting on application.The fluid in the ConvaTec Esenta Sting Free Adhesive Remover Spray is designed to ‘track’ between the adhesive and the skin, creating a layer of silicone. This silicone layer then acts as a release agent to release the bond that is currently there, so the adhesive falls away from the skin without any trauma. The silicone then evaporates in seconds, without leaving any film or coating, and a new appliance can be applied (if required) without first needing to clean the skin.
